The Netri Foundation seeks, whenever possible, to leverage our investments so that the institutions we support can get a greater amount of financing than what we alone can directly provide.

Netri does in the following way…

• Providing guarantees to institutions in the microfinance sector so that they can use these as collateral to raise more money that what has been pledged by ourselves.
• Co-investing in syndication with larger impact investors, where we accept lower returns so as to make the terms more attractive for our co-lenders who otherwise wouldn´t not be able to invest as they require a higher return.
• Extending technical support and financing pilots to validate the business models of socially driven enterprises so as to make them more attractive to other investors.
